Singapore ‘12 Photodump Part 1!

Went to Singapore early this month with my mom and the twins! Super hassled by the travel agent but we still had a good time, never booking with them ever again though! Got to hang out with my Ninang Vick too, who has been based in SG for the longest time! Anyway here are some pictures from day 1!

I have to go to New York this year I just fucking HAVE to.

My mom made an agreement with me regarding my grades for this term. This is the only reason why I’m actually trying to understand shit (aka Math) in school. It’s not like my grades are the worst but they have been getting lower and lower each year.

I NEED TO GET MY SHIT TOGETHER.

Milan Day 4!

Day 4 (February 6, 2012)

12 or so hours of sleep.

Finished my allowance today.

It was also windy, thus it was colder.

Packing progress = 0%

I die.

Milan Day 3!

Day 3 (February 5, 2012)

Today, we only went out in the morning but it felt like the whole day I was so surprised to seethat we got home before 1 PM! We got to do so much things and go to so many places in 4-5 hours!

Our appointment at the Cenaculo Vinciano (Leonardo di Vinci’s The Last Supper) was at 10:15 AM and we were supposed to be there half an hour before. We decided to leave in a cab at around 9:15 since we were told by Vilma, our tour guide from the previous days, that the Santa Maria della Grazie, which was where the Cenaculo is, was around 10 minutes away. To our surprise, when we ask our taxi driver how long it would take to get there he said it only took 5 minutes! We actually got there in just a little over 3 minutes!

Since we were very early, we decided to just claim our tickets then go to the church. The Santa Maria della Grazie was beautiful and so peaceful. The choir was practicing and they sounded so amazing with the organ, it made me feel so serene! We went around then we got to say a short prayer before heading back to the Cenaculo.

DI VINCI IS JUST WOW. The Cenaculo was so beautiful! The details and colors were amazing. It was very interesting especially since I’ve read The Da Vinci Code. We only got a few minutes though. We went to the exhibit of his sketches afterwards. We observed how he liked leaves and plants since he always sketched it on the sides of his notes.

We decided to walk around when we were finished viewing the sketches. Got to shop for a few things as well. I found Uggs (YAAAAAAAY!!!!) but the shop was closed (BOOOOOOOO!!!!!). Still not over how totally annoying that was, it was like I haven’t eaten for days then was shown a buffet but I wasn’t allowed to eat from it. HAHAH, dramatic, I know, but I really want a pair but it’s so hard to find them here.

After what seemed liked hours of walking around, my dad finally accepted that we were quite lost. We walked around a bit more trying to find our way, but no. After another few minutes of convincing my dad to just hail a taxi, he finally gave up. So we hailed a taxi to the hotel and found out we were going the opposite way the whole time!

Got to the hotel and rested for an hour before we headed out for lunch. I really love the location of our hotel! Everything’s just a walk away. We had lunch and shopped a bit more then headed for the hotel since it was getting really really cold!

It’s around 5 now, I’ll just throw all these bags near my luggage. Will start packing tomorrow, for sure. God, I don’t even know if all these are going to fit even with the expansion! Bahala na.

I think I’ll crash now, too tired. Bye x

Milan Day 2!

Day 2 (February 4, 2012)

Fell asleep early last night so I didn’t get to talk to my dad about my adventure. I’m kinda scared to tell him even though I know he’s more lax than my mom. I mean I was alone in a foreign place for crying out loud!

Anyway, enough of that I’ll just deal with it when he wakes up. Speaking of, I guess he’s tired from his meeting last night, I think I’ve never heard him snore this loud before. Currently thinking if I should bathe now, while he’s sleeping, or later, just before he wakes up. I think it’d be easier now but the thing is it’s too early for anyone.

Will try to watch TV while making a decision, bye. x

12:02 PM (MNL) // 5:02 AM (MXP)

So I’ve bathed, brushed my teeth and dressed up I’m thinking about going out and checking if the supermarket’s open but my dad might freak when he wakes up. Unless I use my super speed, lol I wish! It would be amazing ifI had that, I won’t be late ever again!

I’ve also fixed the pasalubong I bought yesterday and I’ve also decided which one goes to who. Still have a lot of people to buy pasalubong for. Dad just informed me that we’re going to an outlet today, yay! Hoping to buy more there.  

Woah, all of the stuff I bought for myself are H&M pala, HAHAH. I spent like 40% of my time there, I think. Still gotta find boots and prom shoes and maybe a nice watch! I saw a nice digital Swatch, in pink of course, at the Dubai airport and was going to compare the price to the one in the Swatch shop I saw but when I was about to, a lot of shops were starting to close so I opted not to anymore, maybe later with my dad.

Getting hungry but our buffet doesn’t open ‘til 6:30 and my dad doesn’t wanna wake up ’til 7! I seriously am dying of hunger and thirst. To check or not to check the supermarket?

Found a channel that airs Ned’s Declassified School Survival Guide!!!!!!!!!!!! I was so so happy until, they started talking and as usual it was dubbed in Italian. Is Jersey Shore the only undubbed show here?!?!? Don’t get me wrong, I looove Jersey Shore, it’s just that it doesn’t air 24/7. I wanna watch TV, I wanna watch it in ENGLISH. 

Anyway just waiting for my dad to get ready then we’re off to the breakfast buffet! After, we’re supposed to go to the hotel gym, I was super game until I remembered that I didn’t bring gym clothes since my mom saw them and was like “When will you have time to gym? You won’t have time to gym! blah blah blah”, so instead I’m finding the supermarket and maybe free wifi at a cafe (PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE) or something.

5:45 (MNL) // 10:52 (MXP)

So cold, huhuhu. I hate hate hate it but it’s still beautiful. Just came from a full day of adventure, well sorta. Went to some outlet place in Switzerland as well! View during the road trip was amazing! Everything was so….covered in snow and the alps looked just wow.

Left for picture taking after breakfast at the Doumo then went back to the hotel to chill and wait for the bus that would take us to Lake Como then to FoxTown, an outlet center over in Switzerland. It was at least an hour and a half drive but it was all good. Got good shots and played brick breaker the whole time, HAHAH.

Got to Lake Como at around 10:30-ish and got brunch/snacks at the Tourist Cafe. Got free salami and cheese and ham and cheese sandwiches! I also got some hot chocolate, which was SUPER thick! It was like they just melted a few bars of chocolate or something so I had to put some milk in it but it tasted reaaaally good!

After that, we headed out on the lake for a short cruise. It was really cool, we got to see a dozen villas! We even got to see George Clooney’s, well, sort of, we saw a teeny tiny bit of it since it was hidden behind all these trees.

When we got out of the cruise we headed on an hour and a half drive to FoxTown. Didn’t really get to buy stuff since I wasn’t in the mood, so we just ended up walking around and having lunch at their cafeteria. Two hour drive back to the hotel, during which I slept. Got to the hotel and had an hour to get ready for dinner.

Dinner was amazing! Great food at the buffet. Was seated with Jav and his parents, Tita Lila and her sisters and my dad. Jav and my dad bonded over endless strings of pick-up lines, as if I don’t get enough of it back home. It was funny though.

Now back at the hotel, so excited to sleep after a long day!

Milan Day 1!

Day 1 (February 3, 2012)

Just got to the hotel and went straight for the TV. There are NO english channels, good Lord, even MTV was dubbed in Itallian. Anyway, it’s -2 degrees out and it’s safe to say that I hate it. Just the cold, I hate the cold, but I love the place! It is beautiful here! They said that it’s been snowing since last night and everything is so white now! It is GORGEOUS! If I didn’t hate the cold so much, HAHAHAH.

Dad’s meeting is at 6 PM (MXP) and I’ll be going with some “ACCRA” wives! Shopping galore ang peg ko, HAHAHAH! I haven’t been shopping with them alone, I was always with my mom, so I don’t what to expect. Hoping for the best.

No free wifi at the hotel and I am absolutely DYING. I now realize how attached I am to the online world, and it sucks. I should, at least try to, spend less time online and more time studying. I don’t know how this will go since I’m used to not studying not even for long test and I barely study for finals. I try but I think I have too short of an attention span for it. For example when I have to research, I spend the first, let’s say, 5-10 minutes actually researching and the rest of the night on Tumblr, Twitter, or Facebook. I really have to work on this.

Oh well, I gotta go unpack, bye. x

Just got back to the hotel from shopping! I am so proud of myself! I survived the -2 degree cold in sneakers and I was ALONE!  Was really going to go with “the wives” but I couldn’t contact them, so I then decided to go alone since the shops were just walking distance from hotel and they were all just in one place. I went to H&M, Accessorize, Zara, Bershka, Mango, and Sephora. I bought from only Zara and H&M though. Clothes and pasalubong for friends from H&M and clothes for my sisters from Zara.

Still so bummed that I couldn’t find boots that were to my liking. I really need them for tomorrow, huhuhuhu. Will bear the tour in thick socks and sneakers, I can do this! I believe I can! I just wish I can find boots tomorrow!

Oh well, so now I’m back at the hotel waiting for my room service. Oh wait the door bell just rang, it’s my room service! Hello, pesto and pizza!

Italia Tomorrah!

Flying to Italy with my daddy tomorrow and I am mega excited! Currently still packing and I’m not even half-way! I’ve been too excited! I’ve been wanting to go to Italy since forever, sucks that we’ll just be there for a few days though. I was really hoping to stay there for at least a week and a half or something like when my mom and I went to Spain for something like 2 weeks around 3 years ago. Nonetheless I am bursting with joy!

I wasn’t able to buy film for Bob, the lomo, but I’m sure Rouge, the point-and-shoot, will deliver just fine! Still thinking about bringing Bob though, just in case I’ll be able to buy film there. Or I could bring this newly rediscovered Pentax film camera, my first ever camera, since I found some clean film rolls with it. What do you think?

Baguio Day 1 of 4!

Left the house at around 7.45 AM instead of the planned 7.00 AM because of my mom, as usual. (SHE IS THE SLOWEST PERSON IN THE WORLD) Anyway, here are some pictures:

Got here at around 3-ish and basically chilled in the room and bummed around until dinner.
